Default I need adventure in my life. What should I do? Where should I travel?

I would like to travel somewhere with no plans, and just explore the culture.

Well... I did a camel treck through the desert of Wadi Rum in southern Jordan. That was something else, indeed. Safe, enjoyable, and definitely not your every-day type of event. I'd do it again.

Wadi Rum is where Lawrence of Arabia mounted the Arab Legion to fight against the British during WWII. And you have the comfort of beautiful hotels and beaches in Aqaba at hand - just in case you don't want to do overnight camping in the desert.
