Any adventures to report at O'Hare Airport when traveling from the east?

I always have a hassle making my connection to continue on westward. Planes from east seem to get in late at gates e or f and have to make connections at gates a or b. I ususally make it at a flat out run, but my luggage doesn't always make my plane. Any comments?

One way to be sure to get your things (luggage) to where you are going is to ship it ahead of time via FEDEX to your hotel or home where you will be staying. Most hotels will gladly hold it for you. This way you will save time at baggage claim, and only have a carry on to worry about. If you ship it in a box containing your clothes, and a "duffel" type bag you can check your luggage back home or reuse the box and ship it back FEDEX again! Use their 800 number to schedule a pick up at the hotel. (tip: pack a pre printed address label and tape for the trip back home!) Have a great trip!
